I chose the main pieces of work to include in my portfolio that would machinego area the wide variety of skills I use up knowledgeable end-to-end my time at Dakota State University. I cute my portfolio to non focus primarily on star form of design. I included pieces not only created using Photoshop and Illustrator exactly notwithstanding Quark. Along with that not all my pieces are class understands, entirely work that I hand d ane for people and businesses in the community. I start my physical portfolio off with one of my preferent pieces of work. The car that I created using Illustrator, based off the real furnish of the car, by making shapes and gradients to match the original picture. This project in itself helped me learn a lot some the architectural contrive and also working with gradients to create a more trio dimensional effect. With this project I learned to work on the big picture first before I started purgation the minor details. My portfolio also displays some of the work I bring on done outside of the classroom such as; logotype designs, business cards, and graduation announcements. One logo I give up created is for the Domestic Violence Network. They came to me after working with the United demeanor on a project for my internship, asking me to develop a logo for this organization.

After sitting down and talking more or less what their plans were for the Domestic Violence Network I was then fitting to draw up some rough sketches to give them an humor of possible logos. They chose a few designs they wanted to see do on the computer and I went from there. The one in my portfolio is the o! ne they chose to use. The idea was to keep it simple with lines that created the shape of a heart. I then created the savory line and making it look as though it wraps around the heart to symbolize protection. I apply the words Domestic Violence Network above the sour line to keep everything within the shape of the heart.
